The PublicStuff web and mobile app is a single location for residents to easily access their city. In addition to submitting service requests, residents can find information like city contacts, parks and trails, recycling and trash pickup schedules, bus routes, pet adoption, election information, and more.
In order to reach a wider audience, PublicStuff's One Voice Translation enables non-English-speaking residents to have a realtime, interactive dialogue with their government. When a resident submits a request in their native language, One Voice translates the request details into English for city officials to process and fix. Any subsequent updates or comments on the request are translated back into the resident's native language. One Voice currently supports 17 languages, including English, Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Greek, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Serbian, Spanish, Turkish, and Vietnamese.
